hey family. my names joshua. I'm new to the family. my first experience was the nationals in arkansas. I stumbled upon the gathering while hitch hiking towards my moms and it was one of the best experiences of my life(what a surprise to find thousands of hippies camping in the woods).
I stayed in bus city for a few weeks and met some amazing folks. I've never experienced truth in how to treat one another so potently in my life. it felt more like home than home. and so I will forever consider the rainbow family my family.
but anyway, I'm hitch hiking around right now, seeing where the breeze is blowing. I'm in denver, staying with a girlfriend of mine. and my feet have been itching so I'm headed to washington this next week. I'm really just perusing, but I know there's alot of good to experience in those parts. I've never been to washington. I'll be going with the flow, working my way to forest hill california down the coast.
I'm in no hurry whatsoever. really I just want to see what's there and have a good time.
but yeah, I'd love to get in touch with some family while I'm there. I'm headed to seattle first then south through oregon then down into sacramento to record some music with some friends in forest hill. here's what I've recorded with an acoustic guitar and my laptop.

but I guess I'm always looking for a temporary place to crash, a job to make quick cash, people to chill with on the journey, leads on good places for panhandling, busking etc. yall know better than anybody what its like to be thumbing around. I'm extremely laid back, I like to jam, I like adventures and I'd love to meet more family.
and I love you people and your ideologies. the way the rainbow family treats each other is one of the most valuable lessons a person living in our time can learn.
but yeah any advice, discussion, contact info, or direction for a vagabond rainbow warrior thumbing through the north west would be much appreciated by I.
by the way I just found this tribe.net thing and its sweet.
peace love and harmony and many good blessings

Re: family in washington, oregon, and northern california
Fri, April 18, 2008 - 7:26 PMI have, in the least a yard for you to camp in for a night or two when you get here
any more than that would have to have a household review and
I dunno how that would go without personal knowledge of you
but definitely a secure outdoor place to land and some orientation to the city from a deep local
oh I guess your getting here timing would matter as I have my own adventures to attend to, but not for a few months
