Our tribe has recently bought land to form an intentional community outside (more than an hour outside) Redding, CA. I have just gotten a full time job in Redding to bring in some cash flow since we are a bunch of broke hippies living in the woods trying to prepare for next winter and grow as much food as possible. I'm looking to find whatever Rainbow Family there are in Redding and connect with them! If anyone knows anyone, or lives there or near. Please drop me a line.

Thu, April 17, 2008 - 8:47 AMI think it's amazing. It's also an exercise in patience, between the council process that we are dedicated to and my desire to build well, not just quickly. It's also an exercise in practicality, in our attempt to prepare for next winter. Things are good right now, even with the inevitable human drama. I fucking love it. I want more Family to come home. We are the seed!

Mon, April 21, 2008 - 11:10 AMWinter's over and spring is upon us. It did indeed snow much in the winter, but didn't really get that cold, only on the virge of frozen, but enough to snow. It's a fairly dry spring so far, but we're expecting more rain soon and maybe even a dusting or two of snow. The days are warm and nice now, but the nights still a touch chilly. -
